In Abkhazia, a resolution has been prepared on the allocation of a land plot for basing ships of the Russian Navy in the Ochamchira port. ANNA-news writes about this with reference to the words of the country’s President Aslan Bzhania.
“This requires funds, and we are looking for them. The position that our ally takes is very important to us, and we are acting as a united front,” Bzhania added.
The Abkhaz president emphasized that the leadership of the republic pays great attention to strengthening its defense capability.
Earlier, Russia and Abkhazia signed an agreement on the creation of a permanent base for the Russian Navy in Ochamchira Bay.
