LA Fleet Week is an annual, multi-day celebration of our nation’s Sea Services held on the LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles over the extended Labor Day weekend.
Events are free and open to the public, including A-list concerts, thrilling aerial demonstrations, and amazing experiences aboard active duty ships.
Now entering its 5th year, the event provides a unique opportunity for the citizens of Los Angeles and the surrounding area to interact with Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services. These service members also participate in numerous morale boosting activities, fostering meaningful connections within the community in partnership with Bob Hope USO.
California is home to more than 1.8 million veterans, with LA County being the most populous. LA Fleet week gives them the ability to access critical services and opportunities, including employment, benefits, and educational programs in partnership with Battleship IOWA and exhibitors.
In addition, LA Fleet Week strengthens local and regional disaster preparedness and response abilities by facilitating the building of relationships between first responders, military, and planning
