The Warship of the Republic of Indonesia (KRI) Hiu-634 carried out Operation Komodo Jaya-26 in Bali waters in order to support the security (Waspam) of the visiting activities of the Australian foreign warship, HMAS Sydney at the East Pier of Benoa Port, Bali, in the context of Refuel, Replenishment and Liberty, Sunday (27/9/2026).
The operation is part of the task of KRI Hiu-634 as an element of the Indonesian Navy in maintaining the security and stability of Indonesian waters, especially during activities involving elements of friendly countries’ warships.
In carrying out its duties, KRI Hiu-634 carries out patrols and security in accordance with the established operating procedures while still prioritizing professionalism, preparedness, and the safety of personnel and materials. The entire series of activities run safely, orderly, and smoothly.
The presence of KRI Hiu-634 in Operation Komodo Jaya-26 is a manifestation of the Navy’s commitment to carrying out the task of maintaining maritime security, as well as supporting the creation of a conducive situation in every strategic activity in Indonesian waters.
