JSC Zelenodolsk Launches Project NE012 Tug

June 18 at JSC Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky was held a solemn ceremony of launching the roadstead tug of project NE012.

The event was attended by Acting Head of the Naval Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Sergey Petrov, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Zelenodolsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan Anastasia Bauer, Deputy Commander-Head of the Naval Service of Military Unit 6939 of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Alexei Kovalenko , General Director of JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A. M. Gorky Alexander Filippov and others.

I am glad to greet you on this truly solemn day for us, when we are launching a new ship. This event was preceded by almost two years of intensive joint work.

The tug has high maneuverability and technical characteristics. I am sure that it will have a great future, and it will adequately carry out its service, – said the Acting Head of the Naval Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, opening the solemn ceremony.

In each of the warships and civil ships built at the plant there is a piece of the soul and painstaking work of each factory worker. I thank you, dear Gorky residents, for your dedication to your work and sincere love for your native enterprise and your country.

I would also like to express my deep gratitude and gratitude to the customer for the trust placed in our team,” said the general director of the plant, welcoming the audience.

According to the developer’s data, the vessel is intended for towing non-self-propelled watercraft and transporting cargo on the working deck, including in small broken ice of the Nearctic seas up to 0.5 m thick.

The architectural and constructive type is a single-deck vessel with a middle engine room, with a two-shaft diesel power plant, with a bow arrangement of a two-tier cabin and an open working deck in the stern.
