Following the invasion of the waters of Matsu and Wutuo in Kinmen through military exercises on December 29 and 30 last year (114), on the afternoon of this (6th), the 12th patrol area under the jurisdiction of the Jinma Peng Branch of the Coast Guard once again detected the formation of Chinese coast guard ships in the waters around Kinmen.

At about 14 o’clock on the 14th of the 12th Patrol Area, it was detected that the Chinese coast guard ships were assembled in two places outside the southern waters of Kinmen, and immediately dispatched patrol boats to push them to the restricted waters for pre-deployment; At 15:10, four ships of the China Coast Guard, including “14529”, “14609”, “14603” and “14533”, sailed into the restricted waters of Kinmen from the south of Lieyu Island and the east of Liaoluo respectively, with the intention of dispersing our surveillance energy. The patrol boat pre-set by the Coast Guard immediately moved forward to use “one-on-one” parallel navigation monitoring to prevent it from continuing to go deep into our waters, and at the same time broadcast through Chinese and English radio broadcasts, solemnly warning and requiring it to turn immediately. Under the full response of the coast guard, the Chinese coast guard ship formation turned and sailed out of the restricted waters of Kinmen at 17:12.

The Coast Guard has severely condemned the Coast Guard, and the Coast Guard shoulders the responsibility and mission of defending national sovereignty.
