The Lockheed Martin-led shipbuilding team launched Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) 29, the future USS Beloit. Ship sponsor, Major General Marcia M. Anderson, USA (Ret.) christened Littoral Combat Ship LCS 29, the future USS Beloit, prior to her launch into the Menominee River at the Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM) Shipyard on May 7, 2022.
