Two elements of Operational Control (BKO) of the Maritime Security Force of Fleet Command I (Guskamla Koarmada I), namely KRI Bubara-868 and KRI Torani-860, which are part of the Coordinated Patrol Task Force (Patkor) Malindo-170/25, participated in a series of Opening Ceremony activities with the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) in Langkawi, Malaysia, Monday (11/10/2025).

The opening ceremony was attended by TLDM elements, namely KD Kinabalu-14 and KD Ledang-13. The Patkor Malindo-170/25 Task Force was led by the Commander of KRI Tuna-876, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Novie A. Dolonseda, SH, M.Tr.Opsla.

The series of activities began with the welcoming of the Indonesian Navy delegation at Mawilla 3 Pier, followed by a Courtesy Call to the Commander of Mawilla 3 TLDM, Opening Ceremony, joint sports, Dinner Reception, and joint exercises including Commcheck, Leaving Harbor, OOW Manouvre, and Sail Pass.

Through the implementation of Patkor Malindo which is under the coordination of the Guskamla Koarmada I Command, the synergy and interoperability between the Indonesian Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy are further strengthened in order to maintain maritime security stability and suppress various forms of violations and crimes in the strategic waters of the Malacca Strait.
