The third French LSS bow section built under the auspices of the French-Italian cooperation and the contractual framework of OCCAR, left Castellammare di Stabia under tow for Saint-Nazaire in France October 28.
The bow section has a total weight of 3.000 tonnes and is 73,82 meters long, 27,6 meters of breadth and 20,6 meters high.
Led by tugs, this section is waited in Chantiers de l’Atlantique shiyard for the end of November for its assembly with the rear section built in Saint-Nazaire.
The delivery of this 3rd French LSS vessel called “Emile Bertin” is planned for the second half of 2027.
