The 100,000-ton USS George Washington (CVN 73), an aircraft carrier of the US Navy, entered the South Korean Navy’s Busan Operational Base on the 5th. The Navy announced on the same day, “The 5th Aircraft Carrier Assault Group, including the USS George Washington, entered the Busan Operational Base for military loading and crew rest.”

There are four ships entering the port: the USS George Washington, the cruiser USS Robert Smalls (CG 62), and the Aegis destroyers USS Millius (DDG 69) and USS Shoup. (DDG 86).
