As a manifestation of the Indonesian Navy’s commitment to strengthening maritime synergy and fostering a spirit of maritime love, KRI Tjiptadi-381, an element of the Escort Ship Unit (Satkor) of Fleet Command I under the operational control (BKO) of the Maritime Security Force (Guspurla) of Koarmada I, held a Coffee Morning and Joy Sailing activity in the waters of Tarempa, Anambas Islands Regency.

This activity was attended by elements of the Forkopimda of Anambas Islands Regency, representatives of Medco Energi, Harbour Energy, Star Energy, Pramuka Saka Bahari Lanal Tarempa, and members of the press. The momentum of togetherness on the deck of this Indonesian Navy warship became a forum for strengthening communication and synergy across agencies in maintaining maritime security stability in border areas.

In his remarks, the Commander of KRI Tjiptadi-381, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Fajar Adha, SE, MM, said that this activity was a means of strengthening cooperation between the Indonesian Navy, local governments, and maritime communities, as well as introducing the maritime world to the younger generation. “Through this activity, we want to build closeness and instill a love of the sea among the community, especially the younger generation of the Anambas Islands,” he said.

During the voyage, KRI Tjiptadi-381 soldiers demonstrated Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) — a maritime operational procedure for inspecting and securing vessels suspected of violating the law at sea. This professional action received an enthusiastic response from the Joy Sailing participants.

The activity took place in an atmosphere full of togetherness and maritime spirit, while also emphasizing the role of Koarmada I as a strategic partner for the regional government in maintaining maritime security and developing a young generation that loves the sea as part of the nation’s identity.
