KRI Teluk Bintuni in Papua for Troop Rotation

KRI Teluk Bintuni-520 anchored at the port of Jayapura port, Papua April 10th in order to carry out re-supply of logistical needs to support the military naval transport support operations task of the Border Security Task Force shift. While waiting for the logistical needs to be met, KRI Teluk Bintuni-520 carried out an open ship to provide an opportunity for the people of Jayapura and the surrounding area to take a closer look at the TNI AL alutsista which is the work of the nation’s children, Sunday (10/4).

KRI Teluk Bintuni Commander, Lt. Col. (P) Agung Ariwibowo via mobile connection said, the openship activity on the ship as a means of publication alutsista owned by Kolinlamil as well as socialization for the younger generation to join and serve the nation and country through the TNI AL.

Furthermore, Lt. Col. General conveyed that the enthusiasm of the people of Jayapura is high enough to be able to explore KRI which is our common pride. This can be seen since the opportunity was opened for the general public to go up and see the condition of KRI TBN-520 from within, residents who took advantage of the opportunity came one after the other. One rule that must be implemented before boarding the KRI, residents are required to remain disciplined to implement health protocols given that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over.

Responding to the activity, the Commander of the Military Crossing Command Laksda TNI Erwin S. Aldedharma gave appreciation to the Commander and soldiers of KRI Teluk Bintuni-520 who opened themselves to get a visit for members of the public who want to know more about the TNI AL alutsista operated by Kolinlamil. This is part of the TNI AL’s publication as well as the implementation of the direction and emphasis of the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Yudo Margono, so that wherever the TNI AL soldiers are and on duty must be able to bring benefits to the people or the surrounding community.
