KRI Sultan Iskandar Muda-367 (KRI SIM-367) as one of the elements incorporated in the TNI Konga XXVIII-P/UNIFIL MTF Task Force was again trusted to lead the implementation of the Miscellaneous Exercise (MISCEX) 831 Advance Maneuvering Exercise with ships from the Maritime Task Force (MTF) in the Area of ​​Maritime Operation (AMO) in the Mediterranean waters, Lebanon, Thursday (02/10/2025).

This umpteenth maneuver exercise since KRI SIM-367 joined the UNIFIL MTF element involved all MTF elements, namely FGS Sachsen-Anhalt F-224 (Germany), BNS Sangram F-113 (Bangladesh), HS Kanaris F-464 (Greece), Saida PB-6 (Lebanon) and KRI Sultan Islandar Muda-367 and Heli AS 565 HS-1306 Mbe Panther.

All ships sailed in formation and demonstrated their capabilities amidst the choppy Mediterranean Sea conditions, forming a formation to face a simulation of multi-domain threats in complex naval warfare.

In this exercise, the UNIFIL Force Commander accompanied by the MTF Commander directly reviewed from the FGS Sachsen-Anhalt F-224 ship to see more closely the maneuverability, interoperability, professionalism, and preparedness of all MTF elements in facing all threats.

The Commander of KRI SIM-367 as the Commander of the MTF TNI Konga XXVIII/P UNIFIL Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Anugerah Annurullah, explained that the exercise designed by the UNIFIL MTF has a central role in the mandate architecture of UN Resolution 1701 which is intended to sharpen combat instincts, strengthen interoperability and increase credibility as a world peace force.

“This exercise is also an implementation of confidence building measures. Trust to participate in operations and exercises with multinational elements has an important meaning for naval diplomacy,” said the Commander of the MTF TNI Konga XXVIII/P UNIFIL Task Force.

On a separate occasion, the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali highly appreciated the achievements of the TNI Konga XXVIII-P/UNIFIL MTF Task Force and always conveyed to all Jalasena soldiers who are carrying out world peace missions to always give their best in every task entrusted, as well as maintain the good name of the Indonesian Navy, nation and state so that it remains in the international world.
