The Peruvian Navy participated in the 51st edition of the BRACOLPER Naval 2025 Multinational Exercise, which concluded successfully, reaffirming the trinational cooperation between Brazil, Colombia, and Peru to guarantee defense and security in the Amazon Basin.

The training took place in three phases, in Leticia (Colombia); Iquitos (Peru); and Manaus (Brazil); with the participation of the Colombian Navy, the Peruvian Navy, and the Brazilian Navy. Activities included protocol ceremonies, nautical parades, tactical maneuvers, shooting exercises, river control operations, cyber defense drills, and crisis response procedures, aligned with international standards that strengthen combined capabilities against common security threats in the region.

In the phase held in Iquitos, eleven riverine units from the three Navies paraded for the first time under the Nanay Bridge, in an event that strengthened regional integration. Boardings of non-cooperating vessels were also carried out, as well as a trinational Capture the Flag cyber defense exercise, which consolidated preparedness against cyber threats.

BRACOLPER Naval 2025 concluded in Manaus with navigation maneuvers, tactical communications, and tributes to naval heroes, reinforcing interoperability and mutual understanding of each country’s capabilities.

With this participation, the Peruvian Navy reaffirms its commitment to the defense of the Amazon and international cooperation, projecting a united front in favor of regional security and development.
