September 18 marked the start of construction for the New Generation Maritime Affairs Patrol Vessel (PAMNG) project. Following the contract award in December 2024, the SOCARENAM-MAURIC consortium celebrates the first steel cutting ceremony at Boulogne-sur-Mer shipyard.
This innovative 54-meter patrol vessel features wind-assisted propulsion and hybrid diesel-electric systems, positioning France at the forefront of sustainable maritime surveillance technology.
Delivery scheduled for the second semester of 2027.
