On June 11, 2025, the high seas patrol vessel (PHM) Commandant Blaison crossed the Corinth Canal (Greece) as part of its deployment in the central Mediterranean.

A remarkable feat of engineering, the Corinth Canal plays an important role in military strategy by significantly reducing shipping between the Adriatic and Aegean Seas. At 25 meters wide, it requires any vessel navigating it to undergo meticulous preparation, intense concentration, and close collaboration with local pilots and Greek port authorities.

A challenge taken up by the crew of the PHM Commandant Blaison who immortalized this legendary crossing with a few aerial photos.
