Detachments of warships of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) returned to the points of permanent basing of the Crimean and Novorossiysk naval bases of the fleet after conducting exercises in the Black Sea.
In the naval training grounds, the crews of ships as part of heterogeneous and homogeneous tactical groups performed training and combat tasks for conducting a sea battle, conducted artillery firing at targets imitating ships and means of air attack of a conditional enemy.
In addition, in order to improve the control and combat training system, the crews of the ships conducted training in communications, combat for survivability, anti-aircraft, anti-submarine, anti-sabotage defense when parked on an unequipped roadstead, as well as at crossing by sea.
After scheduled maintenance and replenishment of material reserves, the crews of the Black Sea Fleet ships will continue to perform tasks as intended.
In the completed planned exercises of the Black Sea Fleet, more than 20 warships of various classes were involved in the composition of heterogeneous groups, ship strike groups and detachments of landing ships: frigates, patrol ships, small missile ships and missile boats, landing ships, small anti-submarine ships, as well as mine defense ships.
