The newest logistics support vessel “Vsevolod Bobrov” makes an inter-fleet transition from Baltiysk to the main basing point – Sevastopol.
Earlier, the flagship specialists of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, who arrived in Baltiysk, checked the material part of the vessel, allowed personnel to the exit and inter-fleet crossing.
In August of this year, “Vsevolod Bobrov” was accepted into the Navy, the St. Andrew’s flag was raised on it.
The logistics support vessel “Vsevolod Bobrov” of project 23120 is designed for cargo transportation, towing, hydrographic research, and assistance to ships in distress. Thanks to the crane equipment and the dynamic positioning system, the vessel can perform loading operations at unequipped mooring walls and on the high seas. Automation class A1 provides shift-free service. The hull with ice class ARC4 is designed to overcome ice with a thickness of 0.6 m.
