CTF 150 – New Drug Seizure for Chevalier Paul

While patrolling the Gulf of Oman, the Air Defense Frigate (FDA) Chevalier Paul visited a suspicious dhow, resulting in a major drug seizure.

On Monday, December 6, 2021, a few weeks after seizing more than 2 tonnes of cannabis, a new operation, in direct support of the Combined Task Force 150 (CTF 150), was carried out on a dhow with suspicious behavior. After several hours of research, this visit uncovered a cache hiding 480 kg of heroin.

This seizure testifies to France’s ability to act in cooperation with its CTF 150 partners to fight terrorism and its support and funding networks, such as drug trafficking.
