Admiral Panteleyev Makes Port Call in Manila

The large anti-submarine ship “Admiral Panteleyev” of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) made a scheduled call at the port of Manila (Republic of the Philippines) to replenish material supplies and food.

The ship returns to its base in Vladivostok after taking part in the first ever joint naval exercise between Russia and the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) – ARNEX-2021, which was held near the island of Ve off the coast of Indonesia.

The ships of Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Myanmar participated in the naval exercises of the ASEAN countries. During the exercise, the crews of the ships worked out joint tactical maneuvering, communication organization and rescue at sea. The algorithm of actions during the inspection operation of a suspicious vessel was worked out.

After restocking in the Philippine port, the ship will continue to sail to the main base of the Pacific Fleet.
