Latest Black Sea Fleet MRK Continues Trials

The crew of the new small missile ship (MRK) “Cyclone” of the “Karakurt” project, built for the Black Sea Fleet at the Zaliv Shipyard in Kerch, made the transition from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol to continue state tests

The crew of the ship, formed at the Black Sea Fleet from servicemen under the contract, after completing training at the Joint Training Center of the Navy in St. Petersburg, together with representatives of the shipyard, conducted several stages of state tests, during which the operation of power plants, steering gear, auxiliary mechanisms was checked, communications, navigation and other systems of shipborne equipment, seaworthiness of the ship, its controllability, stability and inertial characteristics in different running modes.

During their stay in Sevastopol, the crew will continue to conduct state tests, after the completion of which, the “Cyclone” MRC will be included in the composition of the Black Sea Fleet missile ships.
