Black Sea Fleet Rehearses Amphibious Operations

The crews of the large landing ships (BDK) of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) “Caesar Kunikov” and “Novocherkassk” loaded military equipment and personnel of the marines into twin decks.

The event took place in Sevastopol in the Cossack Bay in accordance with the plan for the combat training of the naval forces. During loading, the Marines met the specified standards. In total, about 20 units of military and special equipment of the Marine Corps units were involved.

The loading was provided by a rescue tug from the Black Sea Fleet rescue team.

The next stage in the combat training of the crews of ships with marine units will be the landing of amphibious assault forces at the Opuk interspecific training ground.
