New Pacific Fleet Trio Visits Manila on Delivery Voyage

A detachment of ships and submarines of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) consisting of the corvette “Gremyashchy” and submarines of project 636.3 “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky” and “Volkhov” made a planned call to the port of Manila (Republic of the Philippines) to replenish material supplies and food.

A detachment of ships performs an inter-fleet transition from the Baltic Fleet to the place of permanent deployment to the Pacific Fleet.

The Philippine port is the last foreign port on the way of the Russian detachment, where Pacific sailors came to replenish supplies.

Since the second half of October of this year, the operational management of a detachment of ships at the transition is carried out by the Pacific Fleet.

The Baltic, Northern, Mediterranean, Red and Arabian Seas, as well as the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, have already remained behind the sailors.

In the points of permanent basing corvette “Gremyashchy” and submarines “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky” and “Volkhov” are moored in accordance with the plan of the interflot transition.
