Kapitan Guriev Returned to Novorossiysk from Iran

Rescue tugboat (sb) “Kapitan Guriev” from the squadron of the rescue vessels of the Novorossiysk naval base of the Black Sea Fleet returned to the base after completing missions in the Indian Ocean.

The crew of the tug ensured the participation of the combined team of the Navy in the international diving all-around competition “Depth-2021”, which was held in the port of Konarak, Islamic Republic of Iran in August this year.

Also, during the period of performing tasks in the oceanic zone, the ship’s crew carried out rescue support for a detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet as part of its inter-fleet passage from the Baltic Sea to basing points in the Far East.

At present, the crew of the rescue vessel has moored in the Tsemesskaya Bay of Novorossiysk, started replenishing supplies and post-voyage inspection of ship systems and mechanisms.

After completing all the measures prescribed by the regulations for the maintenance of ship systems and mechanisms, the crew of the Kapitan Guryev ship will continue to perform tasks as intended.
