From 14 to 18 September, off the coast of Cyprus, the multi-mission frigate (FREMM) Languedoc took part in the fifth edition of the quadripartite tactical exercise EUNOMIA 2024 with Greece, Italy and Cyprus.
This annual multinational exercise aims to promote regional stability and deepen cooperation, coordination and interoperability between the French, Greek, Italian and Cypriot armed forces.
During this exercise, the vessels of the participating nations conducted air-sea operations, maritime interdiction (MOI), search and rescue (SAR), asymmetric warfare, a national evacuation exercise (RESEVAC) and a cyber component.
Thus, the EUNOMIA 2024 exercise fulfilled its objective of contributing to freedom of maritime movement in the Eastern Mediterranean.
