After carrying out the resupply of fuel and logistics needs, the TNI Navy Element, in this case KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata-331 (KRI REM-331) led by the 2024 Latma Rimpac Task Force, Marine Colonel (P) Adam Tjahja S, sailed again on the Mariana Sea to the homeland, namely Tarakan, North Kalimantan, Friday (16/08/2024).
KRI REM-331 departs from Apra Harbor Pier Guam Naval Base to then sail back to the country with the Guam-Tarakan-Surabaya shipping channel. Before leaving for Guam, the Commander of the Latma Rimpac 2024 Task Force (Dansatgas) conveyed to all KRI REM-331 soldiers to stay focused and not be careless in undergoing the voyage back to the country and always maintain morale so that the spirit in carrying out the voyage remains high.
The plan is that KRI REM-331 is scheduled to dock in Tarakan on August 20, 2024, which will then complete its voyage to Surabaya and dock on August 25.
This joint exercise was carried out in addition to improving the ability and professionalism of soldiers according to the expectations of the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali as a form of diplomacy and improving naval friendship (navy brotherhood) between participating countries in maintaining maritime security stability in the region.
