In order to maintain the readiness of the ship’s elements so that they are always in operational readiness, KRI Pulau Rimau-724, an element of the Mine Boat Unit (Satran) of Koarmada II, carried out (Konis) activities that took place from mid-September to October 2025 at the Surabaya Base.

This activity is part of the operational and personnel development program in the field of Operations and Training (Opslat), which is filled with various training materials such as Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS), Ship Rescue Roles, to Combat Roles. All of these activities were carried out to improve the technical and tactical capabilities of soldiers in accordance with the ship’s main task as a minesweeper element.

In addition to the operational development aspect, condition stabilization also focused on the overall technical aspects of the ship. Inspections and maintenance were carried out on the propulsion system, electrical system, auxiliary motors, safety equipment, and ship cranes, including improving the readiness of accommodation facilities to support comfort and efficiency of duties at sea. All activities were carried out continuously so that every system and component of the ship could function optimally.

The Commander of KRI Pulau Rimau-724, Marine Major (P) Jerry May H. Limbong, stated that this activity is an important step to ensure the readiness of elements and personnel in every assignment.

“Strengthening this condition is part of the commitment of the Indonesian Navy, especially Koarmada II, in maintaining the sovereignty of the maritime territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and ensuring the readiness of maritime elements in facing every operational challenge in the future,” explained Marine Major (P) Jerry May H. Limbong.
