June 26, 2019 – USS Pioneer (MCM 9) arrived in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, for a port visit, June 26. During the visit, Pioneer sailors will engage in community relations events with Madrasah Al-Hikmah School for Stateless and Marginalized Children and Etania School for the Stateless Children. CARAT 2019: Building Security Through Maritime Domain Awareness

June 20, 2019 – The U.S. and Royal Thai Navy (RTN) conducted a series of training events focused on maritime domain awareness (MDA), culminating with scenarios conducted by ships and aircraft in the Gulf of Thailand during this year’s Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand.
