January 25, 2019 – USS McFaul (DDG 74) departed Naval Station Norfolk, Jan. 25, on a regularly-scheduled deployment to conduct maritime security operations. November 6, 2018 – The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) successfully completed a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), Nov. 2. The ARG’s COMPTUEX was a three-week, scenario-driven exercise focused on simultaneous missions and enhanced realism to test the capabilities of the Kearsarge ARG and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) prior to their upcoming deployment.
