May 31, 2019 – USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93), including a detachment from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 37 “Easyriders,” returned to its homeport of Pearl Harbor, May 31, following a deployment to the U.S. 7th, 6th and 5th Fleet areas of operation as part of the John C. May 19, 2019 – USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) conducted a multi-day port visit to Palau, beginning May 15, 2019. January 29, 2019 – While conducting maritime security operations in the international waters of the Gulf of Aden, USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) interdicted a shipment of illicit narcotics aboard a stateless vessel, Jan. 24. Chung-Hoon’s visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) team seized 4,700 kilograms of hashish while conducting a flag verification boarding. This is the second such interdiction within a month.
