February 1, 2019 – The keel of the future USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120) was ceremoniously laid at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works (BIW) shipyard, Feb. 1. Speakers at the ceremony included Sens. September 27, 2018 – The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Bath Iron Works a contract valued at $3.9 billion for the construction of four Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
