Former WWII Minesweeper to Join Tall Ships Erie 2019

June 28, 2019 – A former fishing trawler used in World War II, now a tall ship, will voyage into Lake Erie for Tall Ships Erie 2019 occurring Aug. 22-25. Built in 1928 as a motorized fishing trawler of Wales, the PICTON CASTLE was given its name after the 13th century Pembrokeshire Castle located in Wales.
