King of Thailand Christens New Frigate

October 17, 2019 – Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn ceremonially launched a newly-built navy frigate, named HTMS Bhumibol Adulyadej, on Wednesday. King Maha Vajiralongkorn, accompanied by Queen Suthida, presided over the launch ceremony and anointed the navy frigate HTMS Bhumibol Adulyadej, named after the late king and father of the current one, at Sattahip naval base in Chonburi province.
