August 16, 2019 – Chinese missile destroyer “Xi’an” of the 32nd Chinese naval escort fleet arrived at the port of Alexandria Naval Base of Egypt on Friday for a four-day technical stop. The guided-missile destroyer Xi’an (Hull 153) attached to the 32nd escort taskforce of the Chinese PLA Navy arrived at the Port of Lisbon, Portugal, on the morning of August 6, local time, for a three-day technical renewal. HMS St Albans Shadows Type 054A Frigate Through English Channel

July 14, 2019 – Royal Navy frigate HMS St Albans is today monitoring the progress of a Chinese warship through the English Channel. The Portsmouth-based Type 23 frigate is shadowing the Chinese Type 054A frigate Xian as it sails east past the UK enroute to Rotterdam and St Petersburg.
