DIO puts Commercial Strategy into action with Clyde Construction Framework

A flagship 10 year construction framework has been awarded today by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. The Clyde Commercial Framework supports the £1.3 billion Clyde program to ensure that personnel responsible for delivering the UK’s continuous at sea nuclear deterrent are able to live work and train in safe, state of the art facilities. UK agrees sale of HMS Ocean to Brazil

The MOD has agreed to sell HMS Ocean to the Government of Brazil after 20 years of service. Defence Secretary visits Appledore yard as warship competition ramps up

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson paid a visit to Babcock’s Appledore shipyard this January 8th, as the company announced further details of its bid to help build a new class of warship.
