Multinational Mine Warfare Exercise Begins Off Coast of South Korea

Maritime forces from the United States and Republic of Korea (ROK), together with personnel from United Nations Command (UNC) Sending State nations, commenced Multinational Mine Warfare Exercise (MN MIWEX) in waters off of the eastern coast of the Republic of Korea, Oct. 15.  USS Chief (MCM 14) departed Busan after a short visit to join ROK navy MCM assets. USS Chief Arrives in Busan ahead of MN MIWEX

USS Chief (MCM 14) arrived in Busan, Republic of Korea, Oct. 10 for a routine port call as the ship makes final preparations for the Multinational Mine Countermeasures Exercise (MN MIWEX).
