USS Rushmore concludes exercise Iron Fist 2018

USS Rushmore (LSD 47), with elements from 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, concluded exercise Iron Fist 2018 off the coast of Southern California, Feb. 7. Iron Fist 2018 demonstrated more than a decade of interoperability development and enhanced amphibious capability of Japanese and American forces. USS Rushmore visits Vanuatu during OMSI mission

USS Rushmore (LSD 47), with embarked U.S. Coast Guard maritime law enforcement personnel, anchored off the coast of Vanuatu for a scheduled port visit, Sept. 15.
