Australia and United States first countries to use Cooperative Engagement Capability between Navies

November 5, 2018 – In a first for our respective navies, HMAS Hobart has successfully tested a communications capability, proving her ability to share sensor information and real-time combat system data with the United States Navy. October 3, 2018 – The ship’s company of the Royal Australian Navy’s first Aegis Guided Missile Destroyer, HMAS Hobart, have celebrated their first birthday while enroute to the west coast of the USA.
