CARAT 2019: Building Security Through Maritime Domain Awareness

June 20, 2019 – The U.S. and Royal Thai Navy (RTN) conducted a series of training events focused on maritime domain awareness (MDA), culminating with scenarios conducted by ships and aircraft in the Gulf of Thailand during this year’s Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand. US & Thailand Conclude CARAT Thailand 2018

The 24th annual Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) exercise between the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and Royal Thai Navy concluded in Pattaya, Thailand, June 21.
