USS Emory S. Land Conducts Bilateral Training with Royal Australian Navy Submarine Service

September 13, 2019 – The submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) participated in a bilateral training evolution with the Australian Collins-class submarine HMAS Sheean (SSG 77), Sept. 13, as part of the ship’s fall deployment to foster positive relations with regional partners. Submarine Sheean home after busy deployment

August 22, 2019 – After departing from Fleet Base West in early April, HMAS Sheean recently returned to her homeport to the delight of waiting families and friends. February 26, 2019 – USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) arrived at HMAS Stirling, Australia for a scheduled port visit this week. Santa Fe’s port visit followed the completion of a joint training exercise with four Royal Australian Navy Collins-class submarines, HMAS Collins, HMAS Farncomb, HMAS Dechaineux and HMAS Sheean, in waters around Australia.
