RAN Participation in Exercise KOMODO concludes

The third iteration of Multilateral Naval Exercise KOMODO (MNEK) has drawn to a close off the coast of Lombok, Indonesia. The shore phase of the exercise saw participant nations conduct a city parade, cultural and sporting events, and engagement activities. HMAS Anzac in Exercise KOMODO 2018

HMAS Anzac has joined participants from 36 other nations off the coast of Lombok, Indonesia while in the region as part of their South East Asia deployment. Anzac was one of 49 warships at anchor for a Fleet Inspection to mark the opening of Multilateral Naval Exercise KOMODO 2018. At the Fleet Inspection, ship’s company lined the decks in ceremonial uniform and ‘cheered ship’ as the ‘Admiral’s Ship’ sailed past. U.S. Navy joins 30-plus nations for Multinational Exercise Komodo

The U.S. Navy is scheduled to join more than 30 nations, May 4-9, for the Multinational Exercise Komodo on and in the waters near Lombok Island, Indonesia.
