USS Porter Departs Cherbourg

USS Porter (DDG 78) departed Cherbourg, France, April 11, after a scheduled port visit which enhanced U.S.-France relations as the two nations work together to strengthen regional security and stability. The ships presence in the North Atlantic is a demonstration of our continued commitment to regional security. USS Porter Hosts Friends and Family Cruise

USS Porter (DDG 78) hosted more than 100 guests for a friends and family day cruise that included tours of the ship, gun demonstrations, and a steel beach picnic, March 26. The friends and family day cruise is a naval tradition that typically precedes or follows a ship’s deployment.
