Huntington Ingalls Industries Awarded Six Destroyers in U.S. Navy Multi-Year Contract

September 28, 2018 – Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Ingalls Shipbuilding division has been awarded a $5.1 billion fixed-price incentive, multiyear procurement contract for construction of six Arleigh Burke-class (DDG 51) Flight III destroyers for the U.S. Navy.
