May 22, 2019 – The U.S. Air Force Space Fence system detected the breakup field from an anti-satellite test conducted by India during a scheduled endurance exercise of the new space surveillance radar. As MICROSAT-R was expected to pass through the un-cued surveillance fence, Space Fence automatically issued a “breakup alert” indicating there were multiple objects within close proximity. October 10, 2018 – Raytheon Company’s AN/SPY-6(V) radar continues to demonstrate its integrated air and missile defense capability through exceptional performance against multiple targets. USS Milius Departs San Diego to forward deploy to 7th Fleet

USS Milius (DDG 69), a ballistic missile defense (BMD) capable guided missile destroyer, will leave her homeport of San Diego, April 20, to join the Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Japan.
