Operation “Poseidon” 17 began yesterday (2023), aboard the Multipurpose Ship-Aerodrome “Atlântico”, which brings together pilots and aircraft of the Brazilian Navy, the Brazilian Army and the Brazilian Air Force in an exercise of qualification of landings and takeoffs during navigation at sea.
As with the most modern navies in the world, interoperability between the Forces is the objective of the Operation, which has the participation of the frigate “União” and about 1,200 military personnel.
For three days, operational exercises will be held in the maritime area between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Cabo Frio (RJ).
