October 9, 2018 (Google Translation) – Navantia , the Spanish Navy and the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) are going to celebrate in Ferrol the conference ” Towards the Shipyard 4.0 by the digital transformation”. The meeting, which will take place on the 15th and 16th of October at the Museum of Naval Construction Foundation . Fundacion Exponav , will analyze the main aspects of digital transformation.
This digital transformation includes technologies , training and people , through the participation of the agents responsible for them, such as workers and entrepreneurs, education, administrations and technology companies. Likewise, these days should serve as a reference in Galicia for the dissemination and awareness of the need for the digital transformation of the economy in society.
The approach of the conference takes advantage of the convening capacity and the interest of the UIMP, Armada Española and Navantia to have first level participants that give the event the desired relevance. It is organized into three blocks, which will cover all the factors: Technology, Teaching and Social-labor environment , to which the opening and closing blocks are added.
The people, fundamental along with the technologies in the digital transformation, will focus two of the sessions of these days, which also seeks to show that this transformation is collaborative, which explains that the technologies, teaching and employment.
