Supplier Days 2019 Supplier Maps
Was your company left off last year’s Supplier Days Maps? Do you think your state and congressional district dollar values listed the 2018 maps were incorrect or has your district changed? Does your company directly contract with the government for submarine systems and components? If so, please email the SIBC at firstname.lastname@example.org with your company name, address, and annual submarine contract dollar values for 2014-2018. The information you provide will only be tabulated down to the Congressional District level and not be directly attributed to your company for the SIBC Submarine Supplier Maps.
The SIBC Supplier Maps are created from the General Dynamics Electric Boat and Huntington Ingalls Industries – Newport News Shipbuilding purchasing department data for the previous five years, 2014-2018. Thus, the SIBC only has full visibility to what the shipbuilders refer to as Contractor Furnished Material (CFE). The SIBC relies upon the voluntary disclosure of its members to provide insight into Government Furnished Materials (GFE) for new submarine construction and any additional submarine related work our members may perform directly for the U.S. government. These Supplier Maps highlight the impact of submarine procurement on our state and local economies and are of great interest to not only your Members of Congress, but state and local officials as well.
Please email the SIBC today so we have the latest information for the Supplier Days 2019 Supplier Maps. Thank you!
