US Navy Contract Announcements August 27, 2018

United Technologies Corp., Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, Connecticut, is awarded $14,493,011 for modification P00006 to a previously awarded, fixed-price-incentive-firm target, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-17-C-0020). This modification provides for additional special tooling for the Lot 11 F-35 Lightning II F-135 engine, including production non-recurring tooling, which are unique manufacturing components and machines needed for production of the F135 engine, including fixtures, jigs, gauges, molds, dies, cutting equipment and patterns. Work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut (67 percent); Indianapolis, Indiana (26.5 percent); and Bristol, United Kingdom (6.5 percent), and is expected to be completed in July 2021. Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Air Force and Marine Corps); fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy), and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) participant funds in the amount of $14,493,011 will be obligated at time of award, $8,692,328 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines purchases for the Air Force ($5,794,885, 39.98 percent); Marine Corps ($2,897,443, 19.99 percent); Navy ($2,897,443, 19.99 percent); and non-U.S. DoD participants ($2,903,240; 20.04 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc.,* San Diego, California, is awarded a $16,995,948 cost-plus-fixed fee and cost reimbursement contract modification to a previously awarded contract (N55236-14-C-0014) to exercise options to provide a full range of technical and repair support services for the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center’s Product Family divisions. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by August 2019. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $1,384,718 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is awarded $9,359,975 for cost-reimbursable job order 0010 under previously awarded contract N00164-17-G-JQ02 to procure engineering support for production and fleet integration of the Triton multi-spectral targeting system on the Navy MQ-4C helicopter. The primary mission of the electro-optical/infrared system is to provide enhanced visual imagery to augment existing electronic sensors that will enhance low-visibility and night navigation, interception, observation and surveillance, insertion and extraction operations, combat search and rescue, identification, real-time situational awareness and threat warning, reconnaissance and surveillance, as well as visit, board, search and seizure operations. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by August 2020. Fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $70,000 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity.
