Russian sailors continue researching anomalies on the bottom while searching for ARA San Juan

Russian military seamen examined another underwater object in the area of searching for the Argentinian submarine San Juan. The object was located at the depth of 950-970 meters under water. It was identified as a large concrete block.

Ship Islas Malvinas carrying the Pantera Plus remote control unmanned underwater system has changed her position. Currently, the ship crew and Russian specialists are waiting for decrease of sea heaving in order to continue searching works.

Earlier, the Russian specialists had been working in three positions and had examined the sea bottom at the depth of 467, 770, and 960 meters. Russian Navy specialists had detected and examined two objects, which had been identified as a catching trawler and a concrete block.
