The Baltic Fleet (BF) corvettes Boyky and Soobrazitelny, being on their long-distance missions, have made their first port call in the Cyprian port of Limassol.
Within a few days, the ships will replenish their fuel, water and food supplies. Also, the seamen will be able to go ashore to have rest and get acquainted with local sites.
The call to Limassol is the first one after the BF ships began their long-distance mission. During the sea passage from the Baltic to the Mediterranean Sea, seamen have covered more than 7,000 nautical miles.
The ship detachment left Baltiysk October 14, and started its mission in the framework of the regular naval presence in the World Ocean.
