At 10:11 a.m. September 22, Black Fleet submarine Veliky Novgorod operating in the Mediterranean waters fired the Kalibr cruise missiles from submerged position at the terrorists’ objects in Syria.
The missiles targeted recently detected defensive posts, concentration of personnel and hardware as well as ammunition depots of Jabhat al-Nusra in Idlib province.
The firing range was about 300 kilometers.
This surprise missile attack in the province of Idlib eliminated critical control points, training bases and armored vehicles that had been involved in attempt to seize 29 Russian Military Police servicemen in the north of Hama province.
All the targets were confirmed to have been engaged.
